Easter Decorating in the Kitchen

Welcome friends!  I am so excited to be participating in the Sharing is Caring Blog Hop hosted by Life with Lovebugs.  I am so glad you hopped on over!  We have teamed up to bring you lots of spring and Easter inspiration.  You can visit all of the great links at the bottom of this post.

Sharing is Caring Blog Hop

I am sharing my spring decor in my kitchen.  As you can see from my photos, I love all of the colorful Easter eggs.  They brighten any room.

I have a major addiction to cloches, mini cupcake stands and candy jars.  I love to use them to decorate with each season.  Today I am sharing with you some of  my mini cupcake stands and my very large candy jars.

spring decor in the kitchen, Annie Sloan Chalk paint, duck egg blue, coco, Easter eggs, mini cupcake stands, jelly beans, butterflies

I found these cute little spring letters at Wal-Mart, and knew I wanted to use them in my cupcake stands.  I was one cupcake stand short, so I just added two letters in the largest one.    I filled the cupcake stands with jelly beans, and used glue dots on the bottom of the letters to hold them in place.

I placed the stands on a tray that I painted last summer using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg Blue and trimmed it with Coco.  I found the tray at an estate sale, and it was way past polishing it up to make it look pretty!

Easter decor, bunny rabbits, Easter eggs

I bought some light turquoise diamond crystals at Hobby Lobby, and filled the tray with the crystals.  Then I placed lots of Easter eggs in the tray and added a few little cute bunnies that I found at Wal-Mart. I just love those little bunnies.

I added bows to the handles of the tray and one on the tallest stand.

I added a few butterflies to the outside of the lids using glue dots.  I love using the glue dots because you can remove them so easily when you are ready to change for another season.

Easter decor, candy jars filled with Easter eggs, spring decor

I told you that I love Easter eggs!  Actually, it is so much cheaper to use the plastic eggs to fill these jars instead of candy.  I filled the largest one with ribbon candy at Christmas, and spent a small fortune in the process!

Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting my blog.  So glad you did!  Be sure and check out all of the other great spring ideas at the hop.  Have a wonderful day!!

I am in love with your kitchen decoration. I am going to have to "borrow" a few of these ideas! I love the crystals on the tray - I have never seen them before, but will have to go out and find some. I have one of the cupcake cloches and I just love it! Oh, I am so inspired!

That is so beautiful. Makes me want to do it, just not enough to go buy all the stuff. Maybe I'll get motivated for next year.

As always you've inspired me. Love your tray with cupcake stands and all your great embellishments. So pretty and festive. I might need to visit Walmart again, didn't see any of those goodies but we were there for grocery shopping on payday. You always do such adorable and doable projects.
Well guess I'm gonna have to go buy some more plastic eggs. Thought I had more than enuf but used them all today decorating my "mantel"a.k.a. (shutter shelf). I have a big jar that I put white iridescent grass in with rest of plastic eggs. Also have couple apothecary jars so I'm going to have to fill them with either some Easter candy or eggs or maybe one of each would be great. Great post and Happy Days

What a bright and cheery addition to your kitchen! I'm missing being able to create my own displays :(...will do one last tablescape for easter brunch before we move. I'm so eager to get re-settled and dig into some fun, new decorating projects...it will be a challenge to be in a rental property, but it will work for temporary digs!
Miss you!
Hugs,
Janet
