DIY Christmas Jewelry for Candles

I am still trying to get all of my Christmas decorating done.  It has been such a busy week, and I'm still not finished decorating.  I wanted to share an easy decorating tip.  I have way too many boxes full of my decorations!  A few years ago, I decided to find ways to transform my existing decor with holiday touches, instead of needing more boxes to hold it all.  One thing about being a teacher, I receive an abundance of Christmas jewelry and coffee mugs!!  I went through the jewelry drawer and pulled out some of my favorite pieces.

I used ribbons, bracelets and pins to update these candles for the holidays.

Decorate Candles with Christmas Jewelry

Such a simple way to incorporate with your everyday decor.

I attached the ribbon and the pin with sticky dots.  It easily comes off, and doesn't leave a mark on the candles.

The above photo is a stretchy bracelet that I put over the ribbon.

This is one of my favorite Christmas pins.  I found some ribbon with gold trim to match the gold on the pin.

After the holidays, I think I may have to take another look in that jewelry drawer to find some pieces to add to the candles.  Now to find something to do with all those mugs!!  Maybe a coffee mug Christmas tree?  Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to stop by for a visit.  I appreciate it so much.
