Christmas Poinsettia Burlap Wreath

In the fall, I shared my burlap wreath decked out for fall.  If you missed the tutorial, you can find it here.  I love this wreath because I made it to change with the seasons.  I wish I could say I'm all finished with my Christmas decorations, but I still have to tackle the mantel and the outside decorations.  I did manage to get this wreath changed out.  After trying several different combinations, I decided to go with the Poinsettias.  I can't get enough of them during the Christmas season.

Burlap Wreath with Poinsettias

Here is the original fall burlap wreath with sunflowers that I made, and you can also find the tutorial to make the burlap wreath in this post.  I removed all the decorations from this wreath and packed them away for next year.  I pulled the Poinsettia flowers off of the long wire, and attached them with floral pins through the center of the flower.  I wrapped the base of each pine cone with floral wire and stuck it through the wreath.  The bow was also attached with a floral pin.

Instead of adding the ribbon throughout the wreath, I used  berries and pine cones.  I attached the flowers, ribbon, pine cones and berries with floral pins.  It was changed out from the fall wreath in less than 10 minutes.  Definitely my kind of project!

Are you all finished with your Christmas decorating?   I will be posting more updates soon.  Thank you so much for visiting!  Have a wonderful week.
