Hi, friends!  Today I'm sharing my candle holder votives makeover.  In the past few years, I have bought a lot of the plain, clear candle holders to use at Christmas.  

Since I have so many of them in all sizes, I wanted to use a few of them for everyday use.

DIY Valentine's Felt Roses Topiary

Hi, everyone!  I finally had some time this weekend to work on some Valentine's decor.  I made these Valentine's topiaries using wiffle balls.  I bought these at the Dollar Tree last summer, and never did get around to making the flower balls that I saw on Pinterest.  I also had lots of red felt that I planned on using for Christmas projects, but that didn't happen either!  I had purchased the little mini urns at an estate sale a long time ago, and wanted to do something with them.  

So I decided to make a felt rose topiary using the felt and wiffle balls.

Hi, friends!  I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  We have been blessed with gorgeous weather today.  It was a very welcome change from the yucky weather last weekend.  I am so thrilled to have a 3 day weekend.  I have high hopes of getting a few projects completed.

Valentine's Day Heart Wreath Tutorial

Hi, friends!  Today I am sharing my Valentine's Day wreath that I made to add to a picture frame.

During Christmas, I removed my skeleton keys from my picture frame and added the wreath below.  You can see the original pictures with the keys here.    I loved it with the frame, and after Christmas I decided I wanted to make a Valentine's Day wreath to use with the frame.

Pick of the Bunch #17 Fabulous Friday Features

Hi, and Happy Friday to all of my wonderful friends!  I can't tell you how happy I am that Friday is finally here.  After being off for 2 weeks, it's been tough getting back into my routine.  Especially, when you are a night owl like me.  Apparently my students felt the same way, because this week compared to the week before Christmas Vacation has been so calm and peaceful.  Now if they will just keep it up!

I needed a wreath for my front door, after taking down my Christmas wreath.  I decided to give new life to an old wreath that I have.  It had been used on the stairs to my deck, and  it was badly faded by the sun.  
  

First Party of 2013 Bouquet of Talent #17

I am so excited to be hosting our very first party of the new year!  I wonder how long it will take me to remember to write the date 2013?  I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  
I have a question for you all!  How do you feel about the new link up versions of  Inlinkz?  I am on the fence somewhat.  Maybe it's  just because old habits are hard to break, and I tend to stay in my comfy zone when changes come.
I love the new layout look of the newest version.  I don't like to copy and paste my links with the new version, and add all my email info. each time I link up.  So, for the time being, I am staying with the old tried and true version.  I would love to know how you feel about it.
For next week's party, we will go with the "majority rules" version next week!  I can't wait to see which version wins!!  :)

My Blog Gets a New Look

  Hi, friends!  I am sure you have noticed my new look!  Oh, how I love it!   Many of you have commented on my new blog design, and I just have to give a shout-out to my sweet friend, Rekita who blogs over at Lovely Army Wife.   Rekita has also started her own blog and website business, Designed Lovely Studio.
I have been wanting to do a blog makeover for awhile, and then the most awesome thing happened.....I won the December Group Giveaway at The Life of a not s0-ordinary Wife!!  It was a very Merry Christmas to me.  Yes, I did a little happy dance!  Okay, I will be honest, I did a big happy dance!  :)
I just love my new look, and Rekita did a fantastic job!  I will share more about my wonderful experience later in this post.
