Are you looking for a quick, easy way to give your pumpkins a little glitz? I was at Hobby Lobby this week, and saw these beautiful crystal appliques used for scrapbooking. I couldn't pass them up, because I've been trying to decide how to decorate my white fake pumpkin that I also bought at Hobby Lobby.
It was so quick and easy to do. You just have to be very careful removing the decal from the paper. Very slow and easy does the trick.
Because I wasn't crazy about the stem on this pumpkin, I painted it a darker brown and added the bow.
I love it! I just wish all of my projects were that quick and easy.
They also had these cute little owls. There was two in a package. So I added one to a very small pumpkin.
How cute is that?
Have you been doing any fall decorating this week? I have so much more fall decor to share with you! Last week was crazy busy, but I'm working on getting all my posts done. Have a wonderful week!
Here's another fun way to use scrapbooking appliques for Christmas!

DeleteWe seem to have a shortage of white pumpkins in our area. This is just so darn beautiful that I must make some..Maybe I could paint an orange one. I'm sure the paint would not hold well, guess i should keep on looking..even if I use a fake pumpkin..I have seen the orange pumpkins with black tacks done on this idea, but not nearly as creative. Very nice..
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! This is actually a fake pumpkin, but I didn't really like the color of the white. So I just gave it 2 coats of paint. You could even paint an orange one, it just may take a few coats of paint. LOL
DeleteGood luck finding one. Thank you so much for stopping by. :)
